First impressions of the flux from the American AT:
Splitting is not going to be pleasant. Not only is there quite a drain on the limited healing capabilities you have on a split, but enemy reactive splits have a shorter response time getting from point A to B.
Still preferable to making spike builds do 1000 damage instead of 800, though.

So now they want to completely eliminate splits for a month? Annoying.
There will no doubt be ways to work around it the health loss, but the biggest shit is that all the defensive characters will be moving almost as fast as you giving you no windows of opportunity in powerplays.

I don't like it. Splits will probably become very much weaker and pressure likely so as well (frontliners need their IMS to deal damage ...). That leaves spike as the only remaining build archetype, which is fine I suppose (especially since there were fluxes that buffed split) but with spike builds already rather overpowered is this what we want ... ?

Frontliners aren't going to care about ~10/sec unless they are facing a build with some kind of pressure. I.E. not invoke. Bigger deal IMO is that everyone has 15% kiting automatically and common run buffs are still stuck at 25%.

Kinda broken too. I used Storm Djinn's Haste with Flail to counter the degen and I was still taking damage. It's a lot of fun NOT having trolling kiters in RA for a month though! Also, putting "Shameful Fear" on Dervs is full of win.

Oh my, this has the potential for much hilarity. Also the potential for lots of trolling your teammates.

Log in to RA. 20 dead people on the ground in the outpost.

Also, Phantasmal Tonic. Die and you disappear.

Degen will play a larger role with this effect. Especially on splits. The Blood Necro will be a bear to deal with.

We just had a 10 win streak with byob, you just need to know what to adjust.
We took a load of return's instead of ims' now, that also seems to deal just fine with the fact that every single team we face has at least 3 snare characters now.
(Crip Anguish, Water Ele, Cripshot, yes i'm not bullshitting you)

This months flux makes it EVEN MORE annoying (as if it were possible) when you're in ZE & someone leaves your FULL RUN before 16 rounds, cause then you ALSO get STUCK with the CHARGE WAR Zaishen NPC

What I like the most of this is that it actually changes the way people play. Each month the changes ave been noticeable in at lest one or two formats.
I find disgusting how some people clung to the meta and complained with every single changed that would make them change the way they play.

The only flux that has had an appreciable impact on the GvG meta was the one that made spikes do 200 more damage, and that was more a function of Dervishes getting an actual nerf than the flux.

The only place that's noticeably being effected by this Flux is Alliance Battle. If you're not with a monk and you've captured an Attack point that grants you Battle Cry - running to the next capture point would mean losing maybe 1/3 of your health. If you're expecting a fight, once you get to the point you're already at 1/3 of a disadvantage.
Hmm... Attacking team use Battle Cry to get even for having the disadvantage on map control... Hang on, Battle Cry actually bad for them as well now... Kick em while they're down, eh?
Wow. So interesting.
EDIT: I can also add HA relic runs are just as boring... DF heals from prots are more than enough.

I don't know if this has been said, but there is some fun with the Flux in the Guild Halls. It will kill you if you just grab a sweet and run around with some friends.
